COACHING ANNOUNCEMENTS

The LFNC is excited to announce the appointment of Eliza Wilson-McDonald as playing/coach for our Senior Women’s football team in 2024.
Her passion in football has seen her play over 100 games stemming from her Junior years at Mount Martha, Mornington Football Netball Club, VFLW Coates Talent League U18 - Dandenong Stingrays, Lara Senior Womens & Geelong Cats VFLW just to name a few.
Eliza is super excited to be a part of a bright future here at Lara for our senior women & female playing group.

We would also love to welcome on board Daniel Dimech as our Reserves Coach for the upcoming season as well as performing in a development role for the group.

Daniel has recently moved to Lara and has an extensive CV that involves U/18 coaching, Reserves coaching and Senior assistant or Line coaching roles across several Melbourne Clubs such as Wyndhamvale, Melton, Hoppers Crossing to name a few. Daniel is super keen and has natural development skills that will be valuable to our young and developing group.

Welcome Aboard Dimma & his partner Meagan!!

We would also like to announce that Jack Gibb will again coach the U18 team.

Over the past 2 years Jack was also the Junior Coaching and Performance Director, however, has stepped down from this role. As such this appointment will allow Jack to focus on the U/18 coaching. This will see Jack link more with Rock and Dev and ensure a focus on culture and alignment with the senior group.

No doubt with Jack's passion, knowledge, and skills he will continue to influence the development of our younger footballers as their steppingstone towards senior football.

Good Luck Gibby!!

We would also like to thank Beeky & Tonks for their roles in coaching the reserves side the past 2 season. They have shown great determination & passion in developing the next crop of players over what was a challenging 2 years. Beeky will still be involved with the senior side helping the young players in Development Coaching role & I’m sure we will still see Tonks around the club watching on.
