September update 2024

The season is now done and dusted, with all grades decided for 2024. Unfortunately for our Lara U18 boys, Grovedale proved too strong in the Div 2 GF, pulling away throughout the game to take the flag. Nevertheless, our young blokes fought it out to the end, showcasing the talent we have coming through into the senior program in the next couple of years. And congratulations to Leopold FNC and Grovedale FNC for winning the senior men’s and Div 1 senior women’s premierships respectively.

June update 2024

Last Saturday night saw the Football and Netball Sections hold our joint Winter Ball in the Captain’s Room at GMHBA Stadium. We’re sure everyone who came along had a fabulous night of wining, dining and dancing. Ticket sales were very strong with over 170 people attending, proving that holding events in town seems to be a popular move. The room had a great view over the ground, just to top it off. And our short but sharp auction of 4 items, along with the raffle, raised nearly $7,000

February Update 2024

With the 2024 season looming even closer, we have seen most teams across the club return to training during February. Numbers are looking quite healthy in most junior age groups, which is both encouraging and exciting with our new Oval 3 facility due for completion soon Many of our members will have noticed the Oval 3 pavilion progressing since works began in the middle of 2023. Club representatives had a guided tour a few weeks ago and we can say it is an impressive buildin
