2022 - Tournament and events
We had an eventful year of 2x seasons, starting with our first ever Men + Women's Tournament in Season 1 gaining 3 Mens teams and 6 Women's teams (well done to the ladies). We then held our Mixed Tournament in Season 2 gaining 14 teams (the most teams since volleyball started).
In Season 1 we trialled our first Crossnet Juniors Training sessions aimed to encourage and equip basic volleyball skills to our children, aged 7 years to 13 years. At one time we had 15 children in a session. It was unfortunate to stop the sessions in Season 2 because there was no longer a trainer.
For the second year, KVC participated in the Darwin Mixed competition and placed 5th overall! An awesome effort from our first year where we placed last lol but we walked away as the best team, so we're still proud of our first attempt.
And last but not least, KVC supported and took part in a Mixed Tournament held by Katherine's Fijian Community Association to celebrate Fiji's Independence day.
