Welcome to KVA Multicultural Cup 2024 - 5th November 2024

This form is to register you into the competition for the day to be eligible to play.

EVENT RULES & STRUCTURE SUMMARY

Please find the details below:
1.Round game will have a duration of 60 minutes.
2.First game starts at 8:00am which means the court is available for warm up 20-30mins prior. (this is only for the 8am games).
3.There will be 2 games starting at 7:55am (see the fixture).
4. A 10-minute warm-up will be provided before each game.
5. To avoid any complications or forfeits, please ensure that your team has a minimum of 7 players ready at the start of each game. If this requirement is not met within 5minutes, you lose the first set 25-0. If this requirement is not met within 10minutes, the game will be forfeited.
6. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
7 . The games will be played according to the FIVB Rules.
8. The 12 Subs Rule will be implemented, allowing each team to make up to 12 substitutions during the game.
9. The matches will be played in a best-of-5 sets format, timed (60minutes). If a set remains incomplete after reaching 13 points, the team must win by 2 points to secure the set.
10.When the whistle blows at 60 minutes during the rally, the point is no longer counted.
11. No time-outs or substitutions will be allowed in the last 5 minutes of each set.
12. The Semi-Finals will be a best-of-3 sets format, untimed. The third set will be played up to 15 points, with the team needing to win by 2 points to secure the set.

Point Structure
•WIN – 4 points
•Draw – 2 points
•Loss – 0
•Forfeit – Minus 2 points


Finals Structure;
a.The division with one pool, the top 2 ranked teams go straight to the finals
b.With pools in a division eg; (Division 2 Men & Women), the top 2 teams play cross over in the Semi-finals to determine the finalists.
c.For Division 1 Men – the top team from pool(s) A, B & C will contest in the Semi-finals plus the second highest ranked team from pool(s) A, B & C will take the other Semi-Final spot. (this will be elaborated more in the technical meeting)
14. The Finals will be a best-of-3 set format, untimed. All the 3 sets will be played up to 25 points, with the team needing to win by 2 points to secure the set.
15.Prize Money for 1st and 2nd


ELIGIBILITY FOR FINALS
Each player must play 2 out of 4 pool games to be eligible to play finals.

DUTY TEAM
The Duty teams for the first games are to be at the stadium by 7:40 am the latest for an 8:00am start.
The Duty teams should have their 1st and 2nd referees, 2x lines, and 2x scorers.
Please provide your own whistle.
