Traci came on board at the beginning of 2022 when the Koala Club family grew and added Koala Calisthenics.  Traci is the head coach for Koala Calisthenics.  Traci started calisthenics at the age of 7 years at Maroondah Calisthencis club.  Traci spent 10 years at Maroondah.  During this time her love of all things calisthencis was developed.  Traci also had the chance to compete with her teams winning many local competitions, Royal South Street competitions and State Championships.

The Koala Gymnastics club was founded in 1975 by Mr and Mrs O'Donoghue.  Classes were run from the Noble Park public hall by the hall trust for 45 years and then 12 years as the Paddy O'Donoghue Centre.  June 2019 saw the Koala team move into the present fully set up facility in Keysborough.  The gym is open weekdays from 3.30pm and Saturdays from 8.30am-4pm.

Koala Dance studios opened in June 2019 upon moving into the lovely new factory.  Koala dance started with three dance classes and now offers over 20 different classes for a variety of ages and abilities.

Koala Calisthencis opened February 2022.  Cathy had attended calisthenic classes as a child and loved them.  She was just waiting for the right time to offer Calisthenic classes within the Koala Club family.  3 recreation classes were offered in the first year: 7 years and under, 8 years and over and an adult class.  2023 was a great year with our first teams taking part in competitions.  We had 2 teams of Sub-Juniors competing.  We also had a junior recreational class.

2024 will be the year of growth for Koala Calisthenics.  We will be offering recreational tinies, competitive subbies and juniors, recreational over 7 years and a recreational adult class.   Good luck to all Koala Calisthenic participants who cross the stage, whether it be at competitions or the end of year display.
