AWAKENING OF THE DRAGON - "Courage"

On Saturday the 25th March 2023 at 9.30am, the Kingfisher Dragon Boat Club of Paynesville will be performing a ceremony of naming our new boat, "Courage".

This includes a ceremony called the Awakening of the Dragon. It gives her sight, taste & power. This is an important ritual that pays respect to the Chinesse traditions.

Performimg the ceremony with be Mark Reeves, Mayor of East Gippsland Shire. Kingfisher Dragon Boat Club President, Zonda Lynn.
