Battle Of the Barwon BOB - 2024

The Kingfishers paddlers were set up and ready for the Battle of Barwon at Geelong. A beautiful day in August saw the Kingfishers pop up their brand new marquee. They competed in a 3.5km distance race in the morning as well as some 100m sprints in the afternoon.

It was a fabulous day of racing with the Kingfishers finishing 3^rd in 2 events, adding to their trophy cabinet. The improvement in 12months has been fantastic and we are looking forward to a competitive regatta season
