HISTORY OF KNOX SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION
KDSA
The Association was formed from Mountain District Softball which started in 1965 and they played at schools and grounds around the area. The Knox Association formed in1968. We played on the back half of the ground we now have with a long drop for toilets on Gilbert Park Drive and the front half of the ground was still a diary farmers paddock. The pavilion being built in about 1973 over the years the office and ladies toilets where added.
The First President in 1965 was Mrs P Ross, Secretary-Mrs M Warner, Treasurer-Miss M Milburn (Mountain District Softball)
The First president of KDSA in 1968 was Mrs J Coall, Secretary- Mrs B Benbow, Treasurer-Mr K Kellett.
