Karratha Water Polo Association (KWPA) is based at the Karratha Leisureplex and facilitates the sport of water polo for both genders and for players of all ages and abilities.
Each year, KWPA sends a men’s and a women’s representative team to compete in the WA State Country Water Polo Championships which is held at different locations throughout the state of WA.
Karratha Water Polo Assocaition plays a signifcant role in the community and we have a responsibilty to our members and their familes. We are proud to announce that Karratha Water Polo Association has now reached Good Sports Level 2 accreditation.
The Good Sports program works with clubs to help them provide safe and healthy environments for families to play sport.

As a Level 2 Good Sports club we abide by the Liquor Control Act, our bar servers have completed Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training, we manage the sale and use of alcohol responsibly and have a safe transport policy endorsed by our Associations Executive committee and is communicated to members. We also do not rely solely on alcohol for club income and actively pursue other income and fundraising opportunities.
