I am asking for your help again to setup and run the 2024 Adelaide International Open 😊

You may have volunteered at previous JudoSA events and I appreciate your contribution enormously. I hope you are able to help at this one too. Please reply early.

Please consider volunteering for the following tasks.

• Setting up the mats is from 6.00pm on Friday 23/8/2024 in Courts 1 and 2 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre, 244-270 East Parkway, Lightsview.
• For this Class of event, 2 females and 2 males with current Working with Children Clearances are required to weigh‑in the players. I require 1 female and 1 male. If you haven’t done this before that is OK because an experienced person will be with you. Weigh‑in is at The Lights from 6.00pm to 7.30pm on Friday 23/8/2024. In special cases, Saturday 24/8/2024 morning weigh‑in 8.00-8.30am is possible. Please contact me if you can assist, and what days.
• Judogi Control is done at the warmup mat area next to the competition area on Saturday 24/8/2024 from 9.00am to ensure a player’s judogi complies with the fitting rules and is clean.
• Mat Marshal: Ensure players are in the correct judogi and ready for the next match according to the match progression. This is done at the warmup mat area next to the competition area on Saturday 24/8/2024 from 9.00am.
• Front table volunteers to greet people entering the Courts, answer any questions or contact me if there is anything that needs attention.
• Scoring and timing of matches is for Saturday 24/8/2024 from 9.00am. Scoring will be via JudoManager but if you have experience with Smoothcomp it is quite similar. We can provide on the spot training 😊

Official Opening of AIO is from 9.00am.

The Lights will be open from 8.00am on Saturday 24/8/2024.
