Sports Vouchers

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing now advise their updated website is now live!  You will notice a branding change to better reflect their expanding program as they move forward into 2025. The Minister will be making an announcement early in the new year to formally launch the expanded program. After this date, promotional packs will be sent out to all current providers and uploaded to the Provider Portal.

2025 Program

• The 2025 voucher is now on the website.
• As previously advised, the street address and cost of the activity are now mandatory fields and we have removed the ‘used a voucher this calendar year’ field. See the updated .csv template when you click ‘Submit a Claim’ (also attached)
• You can start submitting 2025 voucher claims from 1 January.

The 2025 Sports Vouchers Plus Provider Terms and Conditions

 How will the 2 x $100 vouchers work?

Parents will be able to use the 2 x $100 vouchers with the same provider however, for a provider to submit this through to us for processing, it will need to be done as 2 separate claim files (eg: if a child wishes to use 2 x $100 vouchers with the same provider, the provider will upload 2 x claim files with the same child’s data). The existing rules will remain where if a voucher is used for less than $100, the remaining balance will be forfeited (eg: if activity costs/voucher claimed is $70 the $30 balance is forfeited) however the child will still have access to the other $100 voucher for the year.

Updated Eligibility Criteria Requirements 

• Updated in line with expanded activities and the changing focus of the program.
• Supplying additional supporting documentation (eg: copy of your public liability insurance) for existing providers will be rolled out over the coming months and we will communicate when this is required to be emailed in.

Updated Terms & Conditions

• Please read the updated Terms and Conditions (above) which will also be available shortly from the Provider Portal once you login for future reference.
• You should particularly note the changes made to the child safe environment (10) and no prohibited persons (11) clauses.
• These T&Cs will come into effect 14 days from the date of this email (on 1 January 2025).

Updated Promotional Pack

• Promotional packs with the new branding will be sent to all providers in early January.
• Please wait until you receive these packs before you start promoting the expanded program in 2025.

2024 Claims Cut Off

• All 2024 voucher claims must be submitted this calendar year (by 31 December 2024). There will be a small grace period where we will still allow the 2024 claims into the first week of January however then it will be closed.
• You must use the new 2025 .csv template to upload any claims from today onwards. The old 2024 template will no longer work.
