Notice is given that the 2020 Judo NSW Special Annual Congress will be held as a virtual meeting, which will be conducted online on Sunday 11 October 2020.

The Zoom Session will open at 9:00AM to confirm attendees and Congress will commence at 9:30AM.

Please register online by midnight Wednesday 7 October to confirm your attendance at the 2020 Annual Congress.

You will need to provide your Judo NSW Membership Number, your name, and your Date of Birth to register.  Please contact Judo NSW admin@judonsw.com.au if you are having difficulty registering.

There will not be a physical venue for Judo NSW members to attend. This approach is in line with temporary amendments to the AGM requirements in Australia and current regulatory guidance given the uncertainty and potential health risks associated with large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members will be able to participate in the meeting, ask questions and vote in real time using a computer or mobile device via the Zoom online platform.

The Annual Congress provides strategic business updates, election of Board of Management officers as well as the opportunity for authorised clubs & members to directly input into the running of judo in NSW.

The 2020 Agenda will include:

• Adoption of a New Judo NSW Constitution
• Board and Management Reports
• Team and Committee Reports
• Election of Office Bearers
• Discussion Items - Junior Referee Requirements

The Annual Congress is open for Corporate Members and other Club Delegates to attend.  Please refer to our Judo NSW Constitution (click here) for participation eligibility details.

10.1 Voting

1. Voting at the Annual Congress or Special Congress be at the basis of one vote per Senior Corporate Member and one vote per two junior Corporate Members. Fractions of votes will not be permitted.
2. Each affiliated club may send one (1) representative who may speak but may not vote.
3. Each affiliated Regional Association and Common interest Group may send two (2) representatives who may speak but may not vote.
