Do you need to learn Kata for your next promotion?
Do you want to learn more about Judo techniques?
Are you a Judo Kata Enthusiast?
Then the Kata Mini Camp is for you. It provides the perfect lead into the November Dan promotion preparation workshop series. It will delve into the technical aspects of Judo and self-defence techniques. It will provide a time and place for students to share thoughts on Kata.
Agenda (tentative)
23 Oct, Fri: Ju no Kata and KDK Goshinjutsu (choose one)
24 Oct, Sat: Nage no Kata and Katame no Kata (choose one)
25 Oct, Sun: Free practice and presentation
Camp begins everyday at 10am. Please come to Dojo at least 15 min prior to the starting time to complete the COVID-19 sign-in procedures. Camp ends at around 4pm. Sunday’s free practice session allows you to work on your Kata, while the instructors walk around to give advice.
Instructors are Dale Keogh (6th Dan) and Ernie Wakamatsu (5th Dan).
Cost is $60/day or $150 for all three days.

Other items to note:
• Open to Judo Australia members
• White Judogi only
• Please bring your own water bottle and lunch
• Bring your own wooden weapons for KDK Goshinjutsu
• COVID-19 procedures for sports shall be followed
