Weigh in from 8.30-9.00am

Competition starts 9.30am

Expected Finish 3.00pm

 

Tournament Pre-Entry

All competitors must login and register online before midnight Sunday 11th October 2020.

Register before Sunday 27 Sept 11:59PM for the Early Bird Entry Fee - $29 per competitor.

Standard Fees ($49 per competitor) apply from Monday 28 Sept until Sun 11 Oct 2020.

Competitors need to pay on-line at the time of registering for the Tournament.

There is no late entry on the day of the tournament.

 

School Points 

Points will be accumulated as follows

Participation +2 points

Bronze Medal +4 points

Silver Medal +6 points

Gold Medal +8 points.

This is to say - a school team of 6 who lose every single match will beat a school who has a single gold medal winner entered.

 

Age & Grade Categories

MONs Boys and Girls (U9s - Born 2012, 2013, 2014)

• NOVICE - White-Yellow, White-Yellow Black Tip
• GRADED - Must be a minimum of Junior Yellow or above

JUNIOR Boys and Girls (U12s - Born 2009, 2010, 2011) 

• NOVICE - White-Yellow, White-Yellow Black Tip, Yellow, Yellow Black Tip, Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Orange Black Tip
• GRADED - Must be a minimum of Junior Orange or above

 

Weight Categories

The below Weight Categories will be used unless there are insufficient competitors in the nominated weight category:

MONs Boys	U21	U24	U27	U31	U35	U40	U45	O45
MONs Girls	U21	U24	U27	U31	U35	U40	U45	O45
Junior Boys	U24	U27	U30	U34	U38	U42	U46	U50	O50
Junior Girls	U25	U29	U32	U36	U40	U44	U48	U52	O52

 

The Tournament Director will determine the final weight categories following the completion of the weigh-in.  

Competitors may change their nominated weight category at the tournament weigh-in.

All competitors will weigh-in wearing their judogi pants and a t-shirt.  Allowances will be made for the weight of clothes.There will be a 700g allowance for making weight.

 

Other Conditions

A white judo-gi is compulsory - a blue judogi is 'optional'.

All Novice category competitors must have their club coach in attendance.

All competitors must be current financial JFA members.
