Kata Judges Training

September 16th 2023- 1:30PM-4:00PM

 

This training session is focused on developing Kata judging skills for Kime no Kata and Ju no Kata, but the principles are applicable to the other Katas (especially KDK Goshin Jutsu).  Kata judges looking to become certified or renew their certification to judge Kata at the state level should attend this course. Topics to cover include the following:

1. Requirements to become a state level Kata judge
2. What to look for when judging Kata
3. Ju no Kata and Kime no Kata specific points
4. Written test (if not already passed)
