Judo NSW will be hosting a Rules and Refereeing Seminar on Saturday 25th Feb as part of the Sydney International Open weekend.
The goal of the seminar will be to help keep state referees, athletes and coaches up to date with the current IJF rules and implementation.
Information regarding pathways for refereeing from entry level, through the various stages to international IJF referee will also be provided so that those considering a role as a referee can fully understand exactly how far they can go and what they need to do in order to get to the top.
There will be a practical on-the-mat component to the seminar, so attendees are requested to wear a white gi.
Date & Time: 25th February 12.30pm to 1.45pm
Location: On the mat at the Sydney International Open venue.
What to bring: water, notepad & pen, white gi
Who should attend: referees (all levels), players (cadets upwards) and any interested coaches.
