Calling for player nominations for 2023 Ipswich Open Men.

The Ipswich Open Men's program will officially commence on Monday 27 February 2023.

The Open Men and Women teams will compete at the Hockey QLD Championships | 29 April - 1 May at the State Hockey Centre, Brisbane.

To be eligible to represent Ipswich at the HQ Championships, those nominating MUST be at least turning 18 years of age in 2023, and primary registered with Ipswich Hockey Association.

It is expected that all players will be available for any organised trials and training, of which generally takes place on a Monday evening.

Within the Open's program there is the possibility of arranged trial games, these could occur on a day other than the general Monday training evening, and at another association. It is also expected that players are available for these trial games, within reason.

Ipswich Opens teams will not travel or stay together for the HQ State Championships - any travel and/or accommodation required will be the responsibility of the individual.

Please note that the Hockey Queensland Championship may be used as selection for 2023 Queensland Country teams/squads.

Nominations close on Friday 24 February.
