FOUNDATION – LEAD COACH (LEVEL 1 COACH) COURSE
DATE: Monday 14 & 21 March 2022
TIME: 5:30-8:30 PM
WHERE: Ipswich Hockey Complex
WHO: The Foundation Lead Coach training program is designed to train coaches in the fundamental concepts of coaching, including group management and organisation, developing effective training sessions, performing the role of match-day coach, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of players.
The program is directed towards teachers, parents, players and coaches who are involved in coaching modified versions of the game or beginner level club hockey.
WHATS INVOLVED: Practical component - course and evaluation (to be completed in 2x three hour sessions) AND an online theory component through Hockey Australia’s HockeyEd (to be completed in own time).

COST: $100 per participant - $50 to IHA (includes a Mazon Coach Master Folder/Whiteboard) and $50 for Hockey Australia component.
