Ingle Farm Falcons Softball Club

About

INTRODUCTION

The Ingle Farm Falcons Softball Club (“the Falcons”) was founded in 1974. We are a non-profit sports club and became incorporated in November 1994.

Like many other clubs, the years have seen the Club’s development bravely ride the crests and troughs of all manner of changes with regard to economy, membership, teams, location, assets and affluence. The Club continues to subsist, thanks to the dedication, hard work, loyalty, generosity and efforts of its members. The Falcons are affiliated with Central Districts Softball Association (“CDSA”) and Northern Area Men's Softball Association ("NAMSA").

The Falcons’ lair comprises a friendly, family-oriented environment that proffers a warm welcome, support and encouragement to all. The “family” atmosphere evolves by default, thanks to the many generational layers, with birth-years as long ago as 1952 and as recent as 2013. A deep source of pride is the fact that our older generations are still playing ....and winning too.

We have had our share of  achievements and championships over the years, not least our D Grade ladies taking the season six years running.  .

The words “Ingle Farm” in our name are less about catchment area now, than a wish to retain the title to honour our beginnings.
