Impulse Nationals Event Page 2022 - 2023
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This evening the NSW Impulse Committee along with assistance from National Association and delegates from VIC and QLD met via zoom to discuss the rescheduling of the 37th Impulse National Championships.
The decision was made to plan to run the event over the Dec 2022 & Jan 2023 period at SLMASC, more information will be made available over the next few months.
The annual general meeting will now become a special general meeting and be conducted via Zoom similar to last year. This information will be sent out in the coming weeks along with the first edition of the On-Impulse magazine in a while (Sorry but every time I try and put one together Covid has changed plans…)
If you have any information, you would like included in the magazine line planned events, a two-paragraph review of your home club, tuning tips, etc. please have them to me by Friday the 14th January.
For the NSW Impulse members please check the website shortly as we are planning to have more events as there is huge interest in our class. For other states please sell us your boats.
Perin Hardie
NSW and National Impulse President.

Unfortunately, the NSW Impulse Committee along with assistance from National Association and delegates from VIC and QLD have made the tough decision to postpone the 37th Impulse National Championships.
The factors that lead to this decision are as follows
- Escalation of the COVID situation in NSW and Lake Macquarie.
- Physical and Mental health of our membership if close contact and isolation was required after the event.
- Understandable withdrawal of most of the VIC and QLD entrants over the past 24 hours bringing the entry list to 19 boats.
- With these numbers the event would have been a considerable financial loss to the NSW association.
Please keep checking the Impulse Facebook page and Website for more updates regarding rescheduling the Nationals
Please email web@ausimpulse.com.au with your BSB and Acc details to arrange a refund of entry.
Regards
Perin Hardie
NSW and National Impulse President.
