Message from the club

To all sailors,

Please find the Notices of Race, Sailing Instructions and regatta documents for the Big River Sailing Club Single Hander Regatta and Bridge to Breakers.

Covid restrictions have eased so we can hold the events, but you will see some changes to the way we run the events to minimise crowding.

• Contactless registration via the link on the NOR, with a limit of 70 boats maximum at each event.

• There will not be any sailors briefings, all the information is contained in the attached SI’s, or will be prominent on the Notice Board and the big club briefing map on the deck.

Please allow ample time to familiarise yourself, avoid last minute crowding around the Notice Board, and get to the start on time!  A Race committee representative will be on hand to answer individual questions.

• Signing on and off each day of racing will be required!

• Upon arrival, a contact tracing sign in book must be completed for all members of your group including non sailors.

• Catering will be provided however the buffet dinner will not be “help yourself”.  Meals will be plated up by canteen staff.  We can seat 40 inside the clubhouse on the 4m2 rule, and many more on the deck and front lawns.  Currently no more than 20 can be in any one group, so please help us by keeping your bubbles well under this limit.

P.S. Currently the Clarence Valley ( Including Yamba) is NOT in the QLD/NSW border bubble. Hopefully this will change in the near future!
