QLD State Championships

Good morning everyone, I hope you're well !

Well, the highly anticipated Queensland Impulse State Championships are fast approaching and will be held at Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2023.

I'm having trouble fixing links on my computer, however, if you go to the Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club Website-  lcsc.org.au , hit the upcoming events tab and you will find the electronic registration and Notice of Race for this regatta (Monomasters Includes Weta and Impulse Qld State Championships).

Please note, LCSC have advised they will be only accepting online entries, up until the 1st of December 2023. Online entries accepted after this date will incur a $50 late entry fee. If you're having troubles with you're online entry please email rearcomm@lcsc.org.au 

To participate in this regatta you must be a member of the Australian Impulse Association. To be a member go to the Australian Impulse Website. At the top of the home page you will see a registration link, follow the links to register.

Also on the Australian Impulse Website side, in the upcoming events tab, you will see a Notice of Race and Entry link has opened for the upcoming National Championships to be held at Meningie Sailing Club, South Australia,from the 29th of December 2023 to the 3rd of January 2024.

On Saturday the 2nd of December, at Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club, after sailing I am planning to hold the QIA AGM in the clubhouse. I'm aware that some of our long time executive members are not seeking re-election for positions, so there exists an opportunity for you to get involved in helping run the association. If something is on your mind and would like to raise at the AGM please do so. 

On a final note,I am happy to announce that Oxley Sailing Club and Darling Point Sailing Squadron will jointly hold the 39th Australian Impulse Championships, which will be held at Darling Point Sailing Squadron from dates not yet firmed, but most likely from the 5th of January 2025 to the 11th of January 2025.

I'm looking forward to see you all at Cootharaba on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2023.
