Registration
Hello all,
Recently, Squash Australia has moved to a new system called Revolutionise Sports to manage all of their squash and racquetball competitions, tournaments, etc. As such, players in these competitions are now required to sign up for MySquashAUS, via one of the clubs in their state.
Technically, we run most our competitions in-house. If you are only playing in an in-house competition, you don’t need to sign up for MySquashAUS to continue playing, or to have practice hits but it is preferred. For many of you it may be beneficial to do so. In particular, members have accident insurance cover while playing on any Squash SA affiliated court in the state. Specific details on the insurance cover being offered can be found here: https://vinsurancegroup.com/squashaustralia/
There are multiple registration levels you can choose from, but really only three of them are relevant to us:
- Squash SA Lifestyle: this level is appropriate if you ONLY intend to play in the Wednesday night competition, Thursday morning competition, Friday night doubles, and practice hits. It will cost around $22 per year. (This level now also allos you to reserve in Monday night pennant for a maximum of 3 times through the financial year. Which would help us out alot in finding reserves)
- Squash SA Adult Local: this level is appropriate if you intend to play in a pennant team, OR if you intend to play in an SA-based tournament. It will cost around $34 per year.
- Squash SA Adult Compete: this level is appropriate if you intend to play in interstate tournaments. It will cost around $51 per year.
- Lifestyle - Junior FY25 (2023): For juniors who want to play, but wont be participating in pennant competitions or tournaments. It will cost around $11 per year.
There are cheaper options available for those who only want to support or be updated with Squash/Racquetball news but do not intend on playing. Also, if you pick one level, and then later realise you need a higher level (e.g. you choose Squash SA Support, but then later decide to attend a tournament) you can upgrade your membership at any time by paying the difference.
Instructions for registering via Ingle Farm:
If you've got to this far down the page then you're on the right track and interesteing in registering.
If you have signed up in previous years then choose "Returning member" and follow the steps. (This will be the option you choose every 12 months once you sign up for the first time. In future years it will remember your details so signing up again will be quicker.)
If you haven't signed up before then choose “New Member”.
It will take you to a 9-step process.
Step 1: Fill in your details.
Step 2: You need to choose the appropriate level to sign up for. Pick one of the four levels mentioned above.
It then skips over steps 3-4
Step 5: Gives a breakdown of the costs. Choose “Next step”.
Step 6: Fill out your details. It asks if you have a WWC/WWVP (working with children/working with vulnerable people) card, I’m not sure why. You can leave that part blank.
Step 7: Certify you are over 18 years old.
Step 8: Fill in your credit card details, and pay.
Step 9: You’re done!
You don’t need to tell us that you’ve signed up or anything. It is active as soon as the payment as gone through. If you opt not to register, that’s fine as well.
The more members that start doing this the better we can start electronically running pennants, events through the site as well as help those of us playing pennant to find reserves when we desperately need them.
If you have any questions, contact us via the contacts tab from the navigation above.
