Games: Wednesday evenings
Our Social 7s teams are for players looking for camaraderie, fun and a shared interest in softball.Our teams include seasoned veterans and enthusiastic rookies wanting to play a pressure free social game of slow pitch softball.
Teams are mixed gender and players are aged 13+ years, t During each 1 hour game, four innings are played with modified rules that allow members of all skill levels, backgrounds and ages to participate.
Our Social 7s teams in the 2023/24 season include Tornadoes, Herons and Lancasters.
Community Healing Carnival
The annual Community Healing Carnival coincides with National Reconcilitation Week - a time for Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achivements as we work towards achieving a nation built upon respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Hosted at Hawker International Softball Complex on Ngunnawal country, the weekend long carnival brings together the softball community to be immersed in mixed gender slow pitched softball, therapeutic art activities and healing minds in the spirit of reconciliation.
The 2024 Community Healing Carnival saw Hurricanes enter two teams - Lancasters and Tornadoes.
