Hurricanes Softball Club is an inclusive, family orientated club, focussed on member development and enjoyment of the sport. We foster a culture of sportsmanship, respect and inclusion - for our players, coaches, administrators, volunteers and members. We have a positive playing atmosphere that facilitates the development of skilled, resilient, coachable players with a passion for softball.

Softball is for everyone and Hurricanes Softball Club caters to all levels of playing ability.

Our Teams

In the 2024/25 season, Hurricanes was the largest Softball Club in the ACT, with more than 160 registered players across every competition.

In the Senior Men's Competition we had teams in A Grade, B Grade and two in C Grade, a Softball ACT Master's Team, a Macarthur Fastpitch Shootout tournament team and a Softball ACT Men's Skins team. In the Senior Women's competition players filled teams in B Grade, C Grade and D Grade, Softball ACT Master's and a combined Hills/Hurricanes Women's Skins team.

We had 8 teams in the Junior's compeition, from U8 and U10 Home Run Heros T Ball, to U12 Junior Sofball and 3 High School Division teams. 

In the slowpitch mid week competition, Social 7s, Hurricanes fielded three teams.
