The heatwave smoked our traditional Australia Day tournament this year so we're backing it up with a fun mixed pairs 'Not Quite Australia Day' tournament for HV Members.

Teams can feature 1 Aussie (by birth, new Citizen or even PR!) plus 1 International (by birth or 3rd Generation descendant). 

We're not scanning passports or checking visas, it's a fun tournament to celebrate our many diverse cultures which make up this wonderful volleyball community here in Newcastle!

If you're stuck for a partner, reach out to the playing community via the Beach Volleyball Newcastle NSW Facebook Group to give a shoutout for anyone keen to get in on the day's activities! 

Afterwards we will hit the Groper Bar at the Nobbys SLSC (open until 5pm) for prize presentations and cool beverages.
