Have you ever wanted to play volleyball? Now's the time to give it a go during the Women in Sports Festival.
Register for a 90 minute session, bring a friend, learn how to dig, set, SPIKE, serve and play with our experienced coaches. These sessions are for women and girls of all ages, and we are sure you will be inspired to get involved in another global sport which can be played anywhere, by anyone, at any time ... volleyball!
No experience is necessary, just wear some lace-up sport shoes and bring a drink bottle. All equipment is provided on the day. There is a maximum of 24 participants per session, so register now to secure your place.
With every attacking shot (a spike) that we make during the sessions, we'll add it to our tally as we try to reach 500 spikes on the Spike-O-Meter on the day!
We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of volleyball with you. The sessions will take place at Hunter Sports HS, Pacific Highway Gateshead. Parking is along the Pacific Highway, outside Gate 2.
For those interested in continuing with volleyball, we'll have some information about our U15 Junior Social Competition, our mid-year Women's Social Competition, and the Adult Mixed Social Competition.
