Please not the following competition information.

Should a gymnast be unavailable to compete their coach and the competition co-ordinator need to be notified six weeks prior to the competition to avoid being charged a competition fee.

If a gymnast has been entered into a competition and withdraws, a refund may be granted upon completion of the relevant GSA form accompanied by a medical certificate. An event refund application form (found in documents) needs to be returned to the Club for submission to GSA within 14 days of the competition to be considered. Parents should not contact GSA regarding their application, all correspondence should go through the Club.

All gymnasts are to wear Club Polo and Jacket, Leotard, Dance Stockings, White Socks and Competition Shoes.

Competition session times will be notified 1-2 prior to the competition date. Parent helpers will be required for the door and music operator at some sessions. Please provide the club with a current WWCC or ask to obtain one as a volunteer.

COMPETITION KEY POINTS

  • Sanitising protocols will be in place.
  • Warm-up area will be divided into club areas, where all bags and equipment will be kept. This will also be the clubs designated warm up area.

 

ATHLETE KEY POINTS

  • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your session.
  • Where possible, athletes are to arrive in competition attire to avoid congestion in changerooms. (including Hair, make-up, leotards etc.)
  • Athletes will not be permitted to stay and watch other sessions they are not entered in, unless helping in a volunteer capacity.
  • Athletes to maintain physical distancing when using the warm-up area.


SPECTATOR KEY POINTS

  • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the session attending.
  • A limited amount of spectators will be allowed in each session, these numbers will be determined once the work order is completed (expected 1 spectator per athlete, per session).

Spectators must purchase session tickets online prior to the competition, there will be no walk-ins allowed into the competition venue. Booking link will be made available when work order and sessions are finalised.
