In Round 1 of the Sydney North competition, Hornsby had an excellent run - three games won out of three!

Hornsby 3 kicked the day off, winning 3-2 against the Hills Strikers. Well done, Hornsby 3 and Coach Aaron!

Hard on their heels, Hornsby 1 kept the momentum, playing Sydney Uni to win 1-0. However, according to Coach Barty, Hornsby 1's play should have seen a score of 6-0, so obviously Hornsby 1 was on their game. Well played, Hornsby 1!

Hornsby 2 started the game off hard and fast, with an early goal before flagging, so that by half-time, they were down 1-3 against Sydney Uni. Coach Dallas' pep talk got the players back in the groove, and the final score reflected a beautifully-earned 4-3. Scorers were Renae, Sel, and April (twice). Fantastic play, Hornsby 2!

There'll be a break in games over Easter, with Round 2 to be played on Sunday 23rd April. We still don't know the times or locations of the games, but will hopefully hear in the next couple of days.

We're not sure if we're training over the school holidays - there's a poll up on the Facebook Group, asking which days players can make it. Don't forget to indicate which you can make!
