End of season

It's a wrap: due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown, the 2021 winter competition has been ceased. We are hoping to get some summer hockey in later this year, and are looking forward to the start of a new winter hockey season around February 2022. Registrations open, training on

Hornsby RSL Hockey Club has now opened its registrations, for returning as well as new members. On 9 February we are starting our Tuesday training sessions, from 7.30pm to 9pm, at Barker College. Feel free to join us and give our club, or hockey, a try. Contact us at hornsbyhockey@gmail.com.

Start of season 2021

After a challenging but successful 2020, with two of our three teams winning medals in the North West Sydney competition, Hornsby RSL Hockey Club is getting ready for the 2021 season. We have started the year with some pre-season fitness sessions, and are about to restart training. Would you like to join us? Get in touch via hornsbyhockey@gmail.com. We are open to welcoming new or returning players of all abilities.

Grand finals

Hornsby RSL Hockey Club's three teams performed well across the grades in the 2020-modified Sydney North Women's competition. Hornsby 1 in grade B and Hornsby 2 in grade C both made it to the grand final, where they won silver medals after hard-fought nail biters of games. Well done to all players for "sticking with it" in 2020!

Back on the field

After a pause of several months due to Covid-19 safety measures, which we filled with our Weekly Challenges in a virtual competition, Hornsby RSL Hockey Club is finally back on a real hockey field!

Our virtual season

As the hockey season has been postponed to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Hornsby RSL Hockey Club has come up with a way to keep our members involved, active and fit until we can get back on a hockey field. We have divided players into virtual teams, who compete in weekly challenges set by our coaches. Head over to our Facebook group to have a look at how we are doing. Let's keep the season moving!

2020 Season begins

Hornsby RSL Hockey Club has started the 2020 season: our weekly training sessions on Tuesdays from 19.30-21 at Barker College are back on and registrations are now open! Would you like to play hockey with us? Let us know.

AGM Meeting - All Welcome 3rd Dec @ The Hornsby RSL 6pm - 8pm

All club members are welcome and it would be good to see as many members as possible. While all committee positions are available to be voted upon at the end of each year, the incumbents of the following three positions will not be offering themselves for re-election for the 2020 committee.
