Open MIxed (Family) Social Summer Hockey 2022 will be a modified Hockey 5’s format played on approximately half field with social rules on a Monday evening from 6:30.
Social hockey will have an emphasis is on enjoyment, social atmosphere and skill development/maintenance.
While competitiveness is not discouraged it should be remembered that novice players need some encouragement and the “win at all costs” philosophy is not appropriate.
The rules will have an emphasis on enjoyment rather than competitiveness.
No goalies in social competitions
Registration fee will be $25.00 for the remainder of the season
Register to Play
- All players MUST register individually to confirm participation and pay season fee per competition they wish to play in (Players may register in multiple competitions).
- Once registrations have been received HCV will draft registered players into teams for the season. Number of teams will be reliant on number of registrations.
- Teams will be created (by Summer Hockey committee) with players evenly distributed to teams, based on information provided with player registration and player history.
- Late registrations will only be accepted if players are needed to consider teams viable for competition.
