Flying 11

The Flying Eleven is an exciting, high performance, light weight racing dinghy, competitively sailed by 2 people of a preferable combined crew weight between 75 and 115kgs. Ages generally range from 10 to 18yrs but there is no restriction to parental or senior participation.

It is an excellent follow-on boat from Manly Juniors and many other junior classes. The class is very strong around Australia, there were over 50 boats at the 2023 state regatta, where anyone could enter.

The best time to catch Flying 11 sailors rigging is during the season on Saturdays from 11-1pm, check the calendar.
