Hills District Little Athletics

Dear Athlete,  

Welcome to Hills District Little Athletics Club for the 2024-25 Season. Below is some important information that you should keep safe about the upcoming season.  

Registration Day 

Our registration collection days are on Sunday 25th August from 2:00 to 4:00pm and Friday 30th August from 6:00 to 8:00pm at HDLA Clubhouse, AH Whaling Reserve, Roxborough Park Road, Baulkham Hills. On this day you can collect your registration pack, which includes your bib and age. Please also remember to bring your proof of age too.  

Uniform 

In exciting news, we have a new uniform this year!  

Our Club singlet (for boys and girls) and crop top (girls) are shown here; 

Now don’t worry if you recently purchased a new singlet or crop top in the 2023/24 season. You can continue to wear that for Season 2024/25 including all Championship events, if you wish. 

The new singlet and crop top, together with all other uniform options (which have not changed), will be available from our Online Store: https://www.shopsinalli.com/shop/hills-district-little-athletics 

We hold a sample size for all uniform items at the Clubhouse. If any doubts around correct sizing, please come and try before you make an online purchase. The Club does not offer refunds, all arrangements will need to be managed directly with the manufacturer….so best be sure of you purchase before you go ahead.

Club Competition 

We run our weekly competition each Saturday at AH Whaling Reserve, Roxborough Park Road, Baulkham Hills from 8:00am for U6 – U11, 8:30am for Tiny Tots and 9:30am from U12 to U18’s.

Parent Help 

We can’t run our weekly events without help.  

We have a roster for set up for critical Club functions such as set-up, pack-up, canteen and BBQ, which will be distributed via your child’s Age Manager. You may also find the roster in the Club Handbook. 

In addition, each Age Group will need 3 to 4 parent helpers each week to ensure competition can proceed. Please offer to help the Age Manager whenever available.    

Championships and other events 

During the athletics season, your child/children’s registration will give them the opportunity to participate in Championship events (Zone, Region and State carnivals) and a range of other non-Club events.  We will update you of the opportunities as they are scheduled. 

Getting started 

You will be contacted by your Age Manager via email prior to 7th September with more detail about getting the season started. At all times, your Age Manager will be the best contact for any question you have throughout.
