The event is intended to provide two days of excellent coaching for sailors of all abilities including learning, emerging and Australian Nationals bound Optimist sailors. It is an excellent chance for sailors to sail at the beautiful Northern Beaches around Hillarys Boat Harbour, and to experience the ocean sailing enjoyed by families from the Northern Beaches area.

Registration will be open right up to the beginning of the event and include:

• Green Fleet 9am- 1230pm
• Intermediate Fleet 9am-4pm
• Open Fleet 9am -4pm

Coaching will be led by Grant Alderson the WA Optimist Coach with the overall intention of providing a quality ocean sailing environment for sailors of all ages and skills.

Ample parking is available inside the club and dinghies can be dropped off on the lawn next to the boat ramp on the weekend leading up to the event (Sat or Sun 9am-2pm). A Sausage Sizzle lunch will be available, and the club Snack Shack will be open for snacks, cold drinks and coffee.
