Youth Recreational Skippers Ticket Course
The Recreational Skipper's Ticket (RST) is a nationally-recognised certificate of competency which shows that the holder has the minimum knowledge and practical skills needed to operate a powerboat safely. It is the minimum qualification needed to operate a powerboat in Western Australia and is available to 14year olds and above.
The RST is not a licence, so there is no need to renew the Ticket or pay ongoing fees.
Hillarys Yacht Club understands that sometimes courses can be daunting for youngsters when surrounded by adults that they may not know. The Youth RST Course conducted at Hillarys Yacht Club includes delivery of the theory content, practical training and RST assessments tailored to suit the ages of 14 - 16 years of age.
