HDSA Duties overview

Umpiring

As there are limited HDSA Senior Blues to cover the 4:00pm C-grade games, A-grade players and officials will be allocated umpire some of the games. Senior volunteer umpires can opt to umpire a game alone (plate only), whereas Junior volunteer umpires need to umpire in duos (plate and field). Volunteers must be registered to HDSA for insurance purposes. Protective gear and clickers are available at the grounds in the umpire's change room. The schedule is available below, as well as on the C-grade draw. Please check the weekly schedule on the HDSA Facebook page to see if your duty has been relieved by HDSA Blues.

Canteen

Canteen duty from 7:30am to 2:00pm has been allocated to the individual clubs to manage. Below is a timetable to show how many helpers need to be on in each time slot. Please refer to your club as to how the roster will be managed. The time slot from 2:00 to 3:45pm will be covered by 3 people from the allocated C-grade teams. The team responsible is mentioned on the C-grade draw.

7:30am to 11:30am - 2 people (Club)

11:30am to 12:30pm - 3 people (Club)

12:30pm to 2:00pm - 2 people (Club)

2:00pm to 3:45pm - 3 people (C-grade)
