After 3 rounds of the Treloar Shield, our U12, U15 and 35-49 age group are sitting in the top 5 places of the leaderboard.  The top five clubs qualify for the Grand Final.  Like all team events, organisation is required to put in our best team.  We are setting our sights high on the top of the podium, and all athletes in those age categories are encouraged to get involved.  Note that Under 12 includes younger athletes aged 9-11, and Under 15 includes athletes aged 12-14.

Here are the specifics:

- You must be a competition member - so if you are keen to support your club but only have a Community membership, consider upgrading.

- We need 2 scoring athletes in the following events (2 Male and 2 Female): 100m, 400m, 1500m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot, Javelin (U15+), 2x100m and 4x200m (mixed). For non-relay track events, 3 athletes can participate and the fastest 2 count for scoring. For relays and field events, only 2 athletes per club may participate.  

- Having two scoring athletes in every event is our best chance of topping the podium. So even if you don't think you are good at an event, last place beats no place!  Having 3 athletes in track events gives us more security in case of injury.

To reduce the workload on our team managers, please confirm your availability and your preferred events, and also the events you would be happy to fill in for if we needed you.  If you are a community athlete and willing to upgrade and take part if you are needed, please indicate your availability as a Maybe and we will twist your arm nearer the date!

We are particularly short of U12 boys, so please consider coming along.  

There is no entry fee for the Grand Final, so you can save your money for the post event party!
