A great School Holiday activity for anyone aged 11-17
This course teaches the basics of various on water activities, with a focus on sailing dinghies and sessions on larger keelboats and powerboats.
The emphasis is on having fun with friends.
oportunities available to continue sailing at the club after the course.
Cost: $355pp (HBYC Members are eligable for a 10% discount)
No on water experience required

Overview
OutThere Sailing 1 is a great introduction to the sport of sailing and the skills required but will still focus on fun with friends. The program provides a wide variety of on water activities that will introduce sailing and, depending on your club, an opportunity to experience stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing and power boating. You will learn skills through exciting exercises and put them to good use in fun, on-water activities.
Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this program?
This program is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with others whilst sailing.
