This is the IN PERSON Marine Radio course Set up specifically for the QCYC KISS program participants.

In this course will learn how to operate a VHF marine radio by attending 2 x 2-hour sessions (6.30pm - 8.30pm) at Hobsons Bay Yacht Club and then attend the 3-4 hour revision and assesment session (6.30pm - 9pm approx).
Upon completion, participants will receivetheir short range operator’s certificate of proficiency (SOCP). Required by law to operate a VHF marine radio.
These qualifications are internationally recognised and last for life.

Cost: $195 pp, includes Australian Maritime College exam fees, and a copy of the VHF Marine radio handbook 

Note: All particpants must be 16+ years of age to be eligable for the course.
