This is the SELF STUDY and IN PERSON Marien Radio exam set up specifically for the QCYC KISS program participants.

Participants will study the VHF Marine Radio Handbook and practice questions, available at https://www.amc.edu.au/industry/omc/handbooks-and-revision-questions  and then attend the 3-4 hour revision and assesment session at Hobsons Bay Yacht Club.
Upon completion, participants will receivetheir short range operator’s certificate of proficiency (SOCP). Required by law to operate a VHF marine radio.
These qualifications are internationally recognised and last for life.

Cost: $135 pp, includes Australian Maritime College exam fees

Note: All particpants must be 16+ years of age to be eligable for the course.
