This course is the first step on the Keelboat pathway and will introduce you to the basics of small boat sailing, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory

The Course includes  completing an Australian Sailing Certificate - Start Crewing. The cost inclusive of the registration fee is $385
HBYC Membership Discount available.

This Course is weather dependant and may need to be resheduled by the club, some flexibility in availability may be required.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.
