Nominations are open for Australian Masters Coaches for the 2025 Trans Tasman teams.  

Teams will be selected to participate in the age groups over 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ , 65+, 70+ for Men and Women and 75+ (Men Only). 

All Australian Coaches are required to have a current Hockey Australia coaching accreditation and will abide by the Coach Position Description which can be viewed on the HAMC webpage -  https://www.hockey.org.au/masters/position-descriptions/. 

Appointed Australian Coaches are expected to attend the National Championships to assist with player selection where possible.  Note: Assistant Selectors may have another role such as MA coach, Manager, Player, etc.

Australian teams will be selected in all age groups. Australian A teams may be selected.

Positions are self funded. An honorarium will be available for each appointed position.

The dates and venue for the Trans Tasman event are not yet known, however, it is anticipated the event will be in the Eastern States of Australia in April or May 2025.  The duration of contingent commitment will be 3 days prior to the event commencement plus 5 days of competition.  Exact timeframes will be made available at a later stage. 

You will be required to meet at the accommodation or other location as designated by Hockey Australia Masters Committee (HAMC) on the date to be confirmed and you will be required to stay at the accommodation designated by HAMC.

Travel arrangements to and from the event are the responsibility of selected officials at their own expense and at their own risk.

IMPORTANT:
For Players who are nominating as an Australian Coach:

An Australian Coach who nominates for selection as an Australian player in the age group to which they have been appointed will have their Coaching appointment set aside until completion of the Selection Event.  

They will have no input into selection of the team for that age group and an alternative Selector will be appointed.  

If the Coach is subsequently selected as an Australian player, HAMC will appoint a new Coach for that age group.
