Nominations are open for Australia A Coaches, Australian Masters Assistant Coaches and Team Managers for the 2024 World Cups. 

Teams will be selected to participate in the age groups over 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ , 65+, 70+ for Men and Women and 75+ and 80+ (Men Only).

Australian teams will be selected in all age groups. Australian A teams will be selected in all age groups except the 70+ Women and 80+ Men.

Positions are self funded. An honorarium will be available for each appointed position.

World Cup dates provided by World Masters Hockey are available by clicking here. To assist in planning your leave etc you should expect to be  in country a minimum of 48 - 72 hours prior to these dates . Exact timeframes will be made available at a later stage. 

Auckland will host the 45/50 M/W; 55M/60M & 55W to 70W teams.

Cape Town will host the 35/40 M/W; 65M to 80M teams.

You will be required to meet at the accommodation or other location as designated by Hockey Australia Masters Committee (HAMC) on the date to be confirmed.

You will be required to stay at the accommodation designated by HAMC.

Travel arrangements to and from the event are the responsibility of selected officials at their own expense and at their own risk.  

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE AS THIS IS DIFFERENT TO PREVIOUS YEARS:

Assistant Coach and Manager nominees may also wish to consider submitting an Expression of Interest as an Australian Teams Selector - Expression of Interest Link.

Players who are considering nominating for selection for an Australian team and also have an interest in coaching or managing are encouraged to apply.  Players selected for an Australian team will be ineligible to Coach or Manage a team at the same event and may withdraw their application without penalty. 

An indication of interest will help with planning team appointments as there may be up to 19 men's teams and 17 women's teams to be considered.

HAMC will not finalise appointments until after the selection event to ensure that applicants who are interested in an Assistant Coach or Manager role and have nominated as a player will be given fair consideration.
