Team nominations are to be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $250.
All players in the River Winter Classic must be at least 14 years old at the time of participation in their first game.
Team sheets will not be accepted without a coach and an umpire nominated. The umpires must be Level 2 or above accredited umpires. Umpires will not be accepted for multiple teams.
Please be aware that if nominations are not submitted on time the Association cannot take responsibility for your teams being able to take part in this season’s competition. Team nominations received after the due date may not be included on the season's draw.
Clubs with teams that wish to train at GRSA grounds are required to hold a Training Permit. Requests for training allocations should be made in writing to the Competition Committee at grsa_competition@hotmail.com. GRSA may charge fees for the use of training facilities and lights in addition to the team registration fee.

FEES
$1500 per team + $30 per team member beyond 18th on team roster.
Players must be financial with the Association before they take the diamond at the commencement of the competition and cannot be de-registered once they have taken part in more than ONE GAME.
Players participating in a GRSA competition who are first registered with another Association must have a Temporary Interchange processed through the Softball Australia membership database.
OFFICIALS
Each team list must nominate a coach and an umpire. Umpires must be accredited (at least Level 2). Each team must have at least one coach who has Foundation Level coaching accreditation.

Planned competition dates are as follows and subject to change prior to release of the draw:

Teams can expect to play 2 - 3 games on each round date
To accommodate wet weather ground closures and to maximise games in this competition, GRSA may have to schedule extra games on some Saturdays or Sundays
