2 day event at Barcaldine (Sat) and Longreach (Sun)

Update from Outback website:

In 2023 we have organised a Tent City in Barcaldine for accommodation rather than staying in Longreach. Breakfast will be provided each day. Booking details and costs will be available soon. 

There will still be the regatta bus that will meet the plane in Longreach and bring you to Barcaldine. The bus will then transport you to all the events and back to the airport on Sunday if you are flying out. There is no need to hire a car if you are flying in and out.
