Gove Boat Club is excited to host our first Regional Regatta, proudly sponsored by Sea Swift. Races are scheduled Saturday 26 September through Monday 21 September 2020.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER ON REVSPORT.

There will be three divisions to compete:

Lasers 

Cruising Yachts

Sports boat (FarEast 19r)

Those who completed their Expressions of Interest prior to the deadline are now invited to officially register for the Regatta.

Gove Boat Club aims to build a lasting tradition and we hope to welcome as many of you as possible to our inaugural event this year.

 

If you completed your Expressions of Interest, you should have received an email with the following information:

- Notice to Race

- Sailing Rules

- Event Registration form

- Campsite Reservation form

- Frequently Asked Questions - planning your trip  

There are limited positions. Priority is being given to those who submitted their expressions of interest on time. We are asking that completed registration forms are submitted by 30 July 2020. Shortly thereafter, we will open the event to the public and others that missed the deadline for the EOI. Please ensure all crew members are registered through Revsport. 

Eligibility

The regatta is open to keelboats that meet the required safety and insurance standards. 

All sport boat (Fareast) teams must have a Captain. This Captain must be an experienced and competent sailor and must helm the yacht in all races. GBC reserves the right to disqualify and remove a team from the event if they are deemed by the RC to be unsafe and or irresponsible. 

All competitors shall be a full member of a club affiliated with Australian Sailing. A GBC Sail Pass will be available for crew that do not currently hold full membership. Contact GBC for further information.

By entering the event competitors agree to comply with the Code of Conduct contained in the disclaimer.

Competitors under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian shall agree to a consent and declaration form via the online registration.
