Gove Boat Club is excited to host our first Novice at the Helm race, proudly sponsored by Sea Swift. Race is scheduled Sunday 4 June 2023.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER ON REVSPORT.

There will be two divisions to compete:

• Cruising Yachts
• Sports Boat - FarEast19R (application to Hire boat for the day is required).

 

ELIGIBILITY

The event is open to all Keelboats. 

All sport boat (Fareast) teams must have a Captain. This Captain must be an experienced and competent sailor and must oversee the "novice at the helm" the yacht in all races. GBC reserves the right to remove a team from the event if they are deemed by a committee member to be unsafe and or irresponsible. 

All competitors shall be a full member of a club affiliated with Australian Sailing. A GBC Sail Pass will be available for crew that do not currently hold full membership. Contact GBC for further information.

By entering the event competitors agree to comply with the Code of Conduct contained in the disclaimer. Competitors must be over 18 years of age only.
