Over the weekend the club held a sailing forum for all GSC sailors. Around 70 sailors came along, including 2 board directors and 5 life-members. Notible topics we hope to implement in the upcoming sailing season included:
Australian Sailing Sail Pass
This is a new initiative which is a means to allow non-members to go out for a day of sailing/racing throughout the season. It is a form of short term membership where a non-member would compete a form/sign in to indicate which boat they will be sailing for the day. It is a huge improvement for safety management. The club is working on implementing this system this coming sailing season.  

Legends Weekend
Discussions have been made to adjust the Legends Regatta to have it be held over a weekend of sailing. It would be incorporated into the sailing program on either a point-score or club championship week with the possibility of one day of junior/senior sailing and one day of yacht racing.

Family Fun Night
Encouraging fun and enjoyment at the club this would consist of an evening  of games, bbq dinner, karaoke, meeting new sailors and socialising.
