Dear Sailors,
GSC is looking forward to offering the Australian Sailing Start Crewing Course from February-March 2023. This will be a 4-week program running on Saturday mornings on the Magic 25 Keelboats.
As part of successful delivery of this program, GSC is currently seeking expressions of interest to complete the Keelboat Instructor course. This opportunity will teach you how to deliver the introductory courses of the Keelboat Program including learning effective techniques for theory and practical instructing. Upon successful completion you will attain the nationally recognised Australian Sailing Keelboat Instructor certificate. GSC will partially subsidise the course fee, in agreement that each qualified Instructor commits to the full length of a course (4 weeks). This will provide course stability for participants completing the course and allow sailing members to upskill.
