Over the weekend four of our Gosford sailors Mark Murray, Jess Rivers, Wil Rivers and Sam Grilk competed in the CYCA Interclub challenge held on Sydney Harbour. This was the fourth stage of the series.
The event was created in 2001 as a way to identify and develop youth sailors experience in fleet racing events. After four stages, each consisting of a maximum of 6 races per stage, CYCA's team helmed by Aimee Gallaway  and crewed by Chelsea Williams, Evie Haseldine and GSC's Mary Murray came away with the win. Jess Rivers secured 2nd place overall followed by RPA's Ellis Merritt. 
Congratulations to all competitors! GSC is looking forward to starting up it's youth sailing academy again this coming season.
